I'm sorry, but I don't want to see pink everday. least of all spoiling a perfectly useable graveyard. How can you take death seriously when it's pinned by a pink elephant?
Anyway, more importantly, it sparked an obligatory awareness raising, tourist capitalising fair. I only found out last Monday that enough people had canceled their stall bookings that I could actually getting table there. I rattled off a couple of paintings and ink sketches of the church and took along some of my normal stuff to the event today - but it poured with rain, so not many came, and I could only display stuff small enough to fit in A4 plastic pockets
Still, I managed to sell two ink drawings - [link] [link] for a total of £12 (woot), annnnd someone was interested enough in my work to give me a commission, another A5 painting of Quetzlcoatl, and paid me £30 up front (
